Humidification
One of the most important factors in the maintaining an instrument is humidity. Guitars are made of very thin wood and moisture, and lack thereof, can warp and crack fine guitars. Fortunately Humidity is easy to control if you have a good Humidity Sensor and a Humidifier. Planet Waves makes a line of great products that are easy to use and reliable.

"The Fall and Winter are key times to start humidifying your guitars. If you are not controlling the entire room, then you simply must use an in-case sensor and humidifier. It's cheap insurance. We've seen beautiful guitars seriously damaged by dryness. It's a shame because prevention is as simple as 1-2-3.

  1. Get a humidity sensor/gauge so you know exactly what you are dealing with
  2. If the humidity is below the ideal 40-45% than use a humidifier to add moisture safely
  3. Check and refill the humidifier every few days

It's that easy, call today, every dry day causes damage." Paul H.
