This is an all original 1954 Gibson J-50 with awesome tone. We had master luthier Bill Tippin do a complete setup and it plays perfectly. This is a powerful Mahogany/Spruce Gibson Jumbo that really has some great mojo. Like all the vintage guitars we offer, we made sure it will be hassle free and play like a new guitar, like a Dream Guitar.
This 1954 J-50 is indeed a special one, magical tone. Since Bill Tippin worked his magic it also plays like a new guitar and is absolutely hassle free. You get to just enjoy this vintage powerhouse. 
This is probably the best sounding J-50 I've ever played. If I didn't already have enough guiitars, this one would be mine. The tone is rich and pure with beautiful silky overtones and a nice round bass end that is to die for. I can't say I was ever a big fan of these guitars until now.
