This Milburn concert guitar has a full bodied voice that is rich and charactered. It’s a musical voice with lyrical trebles and round, warm bass response. Crafted in impeccable fashion from fine Rosewood and Spruce which provides wonderful power and versatility as well. An aged spruce top such as this can be a great tool for the player offering expression, articulation and strength. There are Snakewood bindings that add mystique and beauty. This is a wonderful concert guitar that we all adore here in the shop.
Every Milburn we see is impressive. They are consistently powerful, articulate and responsive. This guitar is very expressive and easy to emote with. Moving the right hand evokes an array of colors and the dynamic range is superb. Just wonderful. 
This guitar surprised me as soon as I played the first note. The strings are evenly balanced and the third string sings out clearly without any of that "tubby" sound that is sometimes a problem on classical guitars. I would highly recommend this instrument to any player. | Scale Length | 25.59 in |
