Robert spec’d this one out with a number of contemporary innovations, from soundports and a venetian cutaway to a seventh fret side dot (it’s the little things that matter). The voice has opened up sweetly since ’04, and we found ourselves enjoying this one as much for Flamenco music as for the Classical repertoire. That cutaway is really helpful for keeping those top frets dust free (all the way up to the very last, 22nd fret!). This beauty weighs in right at 3lbs 10oz (you will hardly feel it in your hands), and we’re offering it with a snug-fitting Visesnut case for extra protection.
