Alive, powerful, and boasting a meaty midrange. This Crescendo from Bill Tippin has opened up oh so much since 2006. Stiff Carpathian Spruce makes for a treble response that immediately cuts through the mix, and paired with Brazilian Rosewood back and sides the voice has a velvety quality which bring the word heft to mind. Gorgeous tonewoods here, and Bill further upgraded this build with BRW bridge and Flame Koa bindings, Waverly tuners, and a tasteful pointed inlay at the headstock terminus of the fretboard. A K&K Mini pickup carries all of that right onto the stage, and a previous owner installed a strap button at the heel so you can strap right up into it as well. Bill’s Crescendo is something of a souped up OM, packing more power and push. Ready for a guitar experience to get your heart racing?
