Here’s a lovely custom Blanchard Bristlecone featuring presentation grade Ziricote and European Spruce. This combination adds brilliance and power to Mark’s wonderful, clear voice. Capable of beautiful fingerstyle tones and also strong enough for strumming. There is also a venetian cutaway, abalone rosette and bound peghead and fingerboard. This is a single owner guitar that is nicely open now that it’s been played a while. Another superb Blanchard Guitar.
Mark Blanchard is one of my very favorite builders. The reason is his tone features full, rich trebles that are sonically pleasing all by themselves. It's very hard to get a big, fat treble note. Just play a factory guitar and you know what I mean. In addition he has an extraordinary clarity and balance in al his instruments. This one has lovely woods and feels just great in your hands.
