The results are nothing short of magical — the legendary responsiveness of ultra-rare Lucky Strike Redwood is complimented perfectly by an absolutely exceptional set of Brazilian, and in Mark’s hands, the results are greater than the sum of the parts — superb balance, crisp response, and a full, robust voice that belies it’s small size. I absolutely love Mark Blanchard's guitars, and this is a fine example why. The Pinyon is absolutely gorgeous first of all -- not only is the combination of tonewoods fantastic visually, but tonally, it's a match made in tonewood heaven. The punchiness and quick string response is a hallmark of Lucky Strike Redwood, and what could be a better compliment than straight-grained Brazilian? I think I'm in love...
