Here we have a very rare 1928 Martin 0-28K All Koa model. This beauty is in wonderful condition having survive her nearly 81 years to mature into an amazing instrument that is alive with sweet tone. The woods are lush and warm having gained a golden glow with age and the notes are alive and rich. This is a superb fingerstyle guitar for blues and old time and it LOVES the slide. The Koa body offers up great sustain and a lyrical note under the slide. There are very few of this model and year around so this is a special treat.
I play a lot of slide as well as fingerstyle and this guitar loves to slide as much as it does fingerstyle. The Koa body offers great sustain and a rich tone under slide. Played fingerstyle you get that classical Martin small body tone that's perfect for Blues, Rags and Old Time. This is a very rare model, the first we've ever had and we are delighted to offer it here. The condition is excellent with any repairs done perfectly and by great luthiers.
