Here we go everybody, buckle in for this one. We have an absolute cream of the crop 1927 Martin 00-18. This is what the pre-war Martin tone is all about. Sound flies out of this guitar with the lightest touch, and it is oh so sweet. Dig in a little bit and you get that great woody growl from the Mahogany and Adirondack (Red) Spruce. This is one of the lightest guitars we have come across – be careful picking it up or you may end up tossing it across the room! This is truly a special instrument that we feel represents exactly what people think of when they talk about a Pre War Martin.
The first expression everyone got here in the shop when they played this guitar was an ear to ear smile, it is that good. You can fill a room up with the tone that comes out of this little thing, it's astounding. If you want to experience what all the pre-war Martin legend is all about, come in and play this one - you won't regret it. 
Light as a feather and beautifully set up, this is a classic worthy of anyone's collection. The necks that Martin used for their smaller guitars built in the late 1920's and early 1930's are my favorite necks ever. They have a very subtle V shape, but are not real chunky.
